SR-828S

Compared with conventional products, the application of the product has higher efficiency, and the amount of addition can be relatively reduced. The dry powder can be directly added to the mixing system of resin and solvent, and the general method of use is:
A.Mixing system of resin and solvent
B.Organic bentonite powder (mixing for 10 minutes)
C.polarity activator (disperse for 5-10 minutes, if the system is medium and high polarity can not be added)
D.other auxiliaries
E.pigment filler
The required polar activators are: methanol/water (95/5), etha-nol/water(95/5), acetone/water(95/5), and the amount of addition be appropriately reduced with the increase of solvent polarity, usually 10~ 40% of the amount of SR-828S.
In the low polarity solvent system, such as 200# solvent oil or other petroleum solvents, mineral oil and other aliphatic hydrocarbon preparation of pre-gel will obtain better dispersion, anti-settling effect, SR-828S in the system dry powder content is generally 0.2~2.0% (weight ratio).

SR-828S is a modified organic bentonite, which has the characteristics of strong versatility, good thixotropic performance in a wide range of solvent systems, and stronger thickening properties. In the benzene system or high polarity such as benzene and acetones, esters and other mixed solvents can play a role without polar activator, in the solvent gasoline, mineral oil, vegetable oil and other low polarity solvent system need to add a small amount of polar activator to have good thixotropic properties.
