SR-86

Compared with conventional products, the application of the product has higher efficiency, and the amount of addition can be relatively reduced. The dry powder can be directly added to the mixing system of resin and solvent,and the general method of use is:
A: Mixing system of resin and solvent
B: Organic bentonite powder (mixing for 10 minutes)
C: polarity activator (disperse for 5 ~ 10 minutes, if the system is medium and high polarity can not be added)
D: Other additives
E: Pigment filler
The polar activators required in 200# solvent oil or other petroleum sol-vents, mineral oil and other aliphatic hydrocarbons are: methanol/water(95/5), ethanol/water (95/5), acetone/water (95/5), and the amount of addition can generally be appropriately reduced with the increase in the polarity of the solvent, usually 10 to 40% of the amount of SR-86. The amount of dry powder added to the SR-86 system is generally 0.2 to 2.0% (weight ratio).

SR-86 is a new organic bentonite, which has the characteristics of strong versatility, good thixotropic performance in a wide range of solvent systems,ideal dispersion properties, and colorless or light-colored colloid. In the medium and high polarity such as benzene and ketones, esters and other mixed solvents can play a role without polar activator, in the low polarity solvent system only need to add a small amount of polar activator has good thixotropic properties.
